Fizzy drinks are the largest source of sugar causing tooth decay, which is the leading cause for hospitalisation for under 10-year-olds in the UK.

Make your setting a FIZZ FREE ZONE. It's not too late to start today!

Cutting out fizzy drinks and replacing them with plain water or plain milk is a safe and easy way to reduce intake of sugar and in turn, reduce childhood obesity and the risk of long- term health problems.

This will also make it easier to cut down on fizzy drinks for the rest of the year!

Working with parents and carers, making a few simple swaps can make a big difference.

Remember to look after your family's teeth by:
- Brushing your teeth for two minutes, twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste
